MapsOnline is currently undergoing maintenance.
On this site you can download maps made by CartoGIS Services, Scholarly Information Services. Maps are available in raster format to any member of the public. Please note that you need to be a staff or student at The Australian National University to download editable vector (svg) files: create a user account and then login. If you are off campus, you will need a VPN (Virtual Private Network). Instructions on how to install and use the VPN service can be found on the ANU IT Services website.
The maps are compiled from several sources. All reasonable endeavours are made to ensure the maps are as accurate and up-to-date as possible and dates are provided for some historical maps. If you believe any of the information held on our websites is incorrect please get in touch with us via email: cap.cartogis@anu.edu.au or using the feedback form.
The depiction and use of boundaries, geographic names and related data shown on maps on this website are not warranted to be error free nor do they necessarily imply official endorsement or acceptance by CartoGIS Services or The Australian National University.
